Perhaps we should get the chimps to take the recent South African Department of Education’s literacy test and see how well they fare – can’t imagine it being much worse than the results the kids produced.
Regardless, the results are pretty amazing!

June 29, 2011 at 5:20 pmActually humans have the propensity to recall as well as chimps do – extracting the short-term information from the subconscious is what many hypnotists are able to do. It’s just a question of training the mind, nothing more.
Given the recent Department of Education literacy assessment in South Africa, I would have to say the chimps are more likely to be better and more able students than the current generation in schools here!
