The day I finally finish writing my first feature movie script, called “A Cape Love Story” (working title) Chuck Mangione’s song “Feel So Good” will be playing in the opening title sequence, with a trumpet playing, and a stage spotlight reflecting off the trumpet. You will have to wait to see the rest of the opening sequence of my movie.

Chuck Mangione was very popular in the seventies. I only got to know his music in the late 80’s and early 90’s while partying in Galaxy. This amazing trumpeter grew up attending jazz concerts, watching musicians like Dizzy Gillespie. In 1978 he recorded “Feel so good,” which was one of the many songs he recorded and performed in 70’s, and this made him a big celebrity. In 1997, he embarked on a comeback tour. I must be honest – I have not heard much about it, but this song still grooves.
