Day 3 tickets 2
During the December holidays, I told a very good friend, Melikhaya, about one of my father’s dreams, which was to travel with the Springboks rugby team on tours to New Zealand and Australia. Unfortunately, he was unable to do this before his death. It has now become one of my dreams and I am working towards going to the next Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. Melikhaya then said to me “Why wait to travel internationally to watch big sporting events, when here in South Africa, we have amazing big local and international sporting events like, the cricket tour series between South Africa and England, Super 14 &; Tri- Nations and ABSA Currie Cup rugby, ABSA PSL soccer and the FIFA World Cup etc. We then made a commitment to watch as much live sporting events as possible, and we started by going to the third day of the Castle Test Series between South Africa and England at Bidvest Wanderers Stadium. T.I.A – This Is Africa

By Siraaj Cassiem | 10 January 2010

Let me start off by saying that I strongly condemn the vicious attack on, and murder of, the Togo soccer players and management team in Angola recently. As much as such events shock and disgust us, we also know that “This is Africa.” (T.I.A). Until the day that we, in Africa, can honestly work, live, share and play as one, then violence will always be an African reality. Below is a music video of a musician called K’naan, singing about the reality of living in Africa. What I like about this song is that he describes the realities that we, as Africans, live in everyday and how we keep managing to LIVE here. T.I.A.

By now, Formula 1 fans will know that Schumacher will be back racing on the Formula 1 circuit in 2010, for Mercedes, the renamed Brawn GP team.
