This year’s annual Passion for Speed Festival promises to be the historic racing event of the year. Set to run at Zwartkops Raceway on 2 February, this exciting event will see some of the best historic racing cars and drivers slugging it out for glory.

Highlights include the Pre66 Legends of the 9-Hour saloon car class, which will feature no less than 14 American V8 muscle and pony cars. A Plymouth Fury. Three Ford Galaxies. A Chevrolet Bel-Air and Biscayne. Four Ford Mustang Fastbacks. These are just some of the multi-cylindered behemoths confirmed for the grid. Driving them will be the ultra-experienced likes of Sarel van der Merwe, Hennie Groenewald, Leeroy Poulter and Franco Scribante.
