Fire. Every racing driver’s worst nightmare. Especially when it starts inside the cockpit. Strangely this phenomenon doesn’t really seem to phase Ken Block much. Yep, during the final round of the recent Global Rally Cross SEMA, the gung-ho American seemed completely oblivious to the mini inferno that erupted out of his centre console. In fact he just kept on charging until his ECU turned to gloop, forcing him to retire on Lap 5. Unfortunate, yes, but it does make for pretty spectacular viewing. Enjoy.
