This Saturday 21 July Zwartkops Raceway will be hosting round five of the 2012 Midas Historic Tour. And this means that I’ll be making an appearance in the Sunday Times Ford Mustang GT.

Lubricated by Castrol Edge, I’ll be racing this popular 400hp pony car in the Pre74 Trans-Am category: an exciting class packed with numerous Chevy Camaros, a hot Porsche 911 RSR and one blisteringly quick Datsun 240Z. Dark horses include a tricked out Alfa GT, Mercury Cougar and a string of BMW 2002s.

Armed with fresh Bridgestone rubber, the team and I are expecting good things and are confident about stepping up onto the podium. While it’s certainly not going to be easy, the racing should be nothing short of spectacular. Gates open at 8am with our heats commencing at 11h20 and 15h15 respectively.
