There’s nothing Lotus loves more than releasing once-off versions of their Evora sports car. Indeed, hot on the heels of the ridiculous Freddie Mercury Edition that had fans of the UK marque asking themselves ‘Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?,’ the Hethel-based firm has now revealed the all-new GP Edition you see here. Giving a stylistic nod to the iconic John Player Special livery that so epitomized the racing scene back in 1970s, the GP Edition also draws inspiration from the 2011 Lotus Renault F1 car. Don’t expect anything extra wild in the performance department because beneath that flash new paint job lies a bog-standard Evora S. Production is said to be limited to just three cars and prices will start at £69 950.
