Vettel

Despite not starting in pole position, Red Bull‘s Sebastian Vettel has won the 2011 Spanish F1 Grand Prix. Second place went to McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton’s team mate, Jenson Button, ensured that the silver arrows were well represented up on the podium by clinching third. Polesitter, Mark Webber, crossed the finish line in fourth position while Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso eventually settled for fifth after leading the race for the first 18-laps. This result now puts Sebastian Vettel exactly 41 points ahead of Lewis Hamilton in the championship fight.
