The Wheel Deal

Fixing you up with life in the fast lane.

In case you missed it, here is that hotly talked about incident involving Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello at today’s Hungarian Grand Prix. Obviously trying to turf his ex-Ferrari team-mate into the wall in an attempt to stop the Brazilian overtaking him, Shumacher’s aggressive tactics have seen him receive a 10-place penalty at the upcoming Belgian GP happening later this month. Now seeing as though Barrichello had the faster car and had chosen to pass Schumacher on a legitimate part of the race track, I think this highly dangerous maneuver should have seen the FIA slap a much harder sentence upon the seven-time F1 world champion. Forget about a 10-place penalty, Schumacher deserves to sit out at least two Grand Prixs as well as forfeit some championship points for his irresponsible actions. Luckily for Barrichello the wall ran out  just in time, for if it hadn’t he could have quickly become the victim of a very serious and very unnecessary accident. Shame on you Schumacher.
