It certainly was a wicked weekend for the Monster World Rally Team as Ken Block and Alex Gelsomino won the 100 Acre Wood Rally in their brand new Ford Fiesta; the car’s first ever victory in the Rally America series. Even though Block started the final day in third position and nearly one minute behind the leader, he managed to dig deep into the driving skills department and notch up his fifth consectutive 100 Acre Wood win. No doubt a massive confidence booster, this triumph should stand him in good stead for his upcoming WRC debut at this weekend’s Rally Mexico.
Hi Ben,
Yes, Mr. Block runs a Fiesta in the American Rally Series. In the select WRC eventS he’s entering during 2010 he’ll be running the Focus RS.

A little confused here, so he drove the Fiesta for the 100 Acre? Where does the awesome Focus RS fit into the greater scheme of things?
Is one for WRC and the other for everything else?
