London’s Heathrow airport was closed to air traffic yesterday as a cloud of volcanic ash from the erupting volcano in Iceland continues to hamper aviation safety.
To see just what is causing all the trouble – and what effect it has had on air travellers all over Europe – see the volcanic slideshow on Times LIVE.

April 19, 2010 at 11:53 amI am DISGUSTED by baggage theft at O R Tambo Airport. I lost a 32inch LCD TV among other things which travelling on SAA to Harare. This smacks of an organized syndicate operating at the airport. This is totally appalling especially with a World Cup in short sight. Meanwhile SAA is “processing” my claim… whatever that means!
