Coast road

This photo was taken a few kilometres east of Kogelbaai on the exquisite coastal road between Gordon’s Bay and Kleinmond yesterday afternoon.

Golden light, a waterfall of clound rolling of the peaks and a Southern Right whale with her calf slapping around in the shallows a few hundred feet offshore. That was a “moment”.

Now, if we could erase the facebrick-brutalist monstrosities that litter the fynbos around Pringle and Betty’s Bay, man, that would be paradise.
