According to TMZ Nicki Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj, can be added on the list of females that have beaten by their boyfriends right below Rihanna and Kelly Khumalo.
The gossip site claims that female rapper Nicki Minaj was bashed in the face with a suitcase by her boyfriend Safaree Samuels, who also happens to be her assistant.
TMZ also uploaded a document which they claim to be the authentic police report which was filed. The police report says “[Nicki's] teeth struck the inside of her lower lip, causing the inside of the lower lip to cut and start to bleed”

Earlier this year rapper Wiz Khalifa, etched ‘Amb’ short for his girlfriend’s name ‘Amber’ on the inside of his thumb. And now Amber Rose has returned the favour by getting his name inked on hers.

This morning Amber Rose tweeted a picture of her finger which now has a small cursive text tattoo spelling out ‘Cam’, short for ‘Cameron’ because Wiz Khalifa’s real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz.

Her tribute tattoo also comes after Wiz stood by her during a nude pics scandal that saw her lose a modeling contract.
Earlier this month, pornographic photographs of Amber Rose circulated the web after she reportedly sent the images to Nicki Minaj’s then-boyfriend Safaree. But Amber Rose claims that he sent them to himself after discovering them on her computer.

While most Americans were celebrating Independence Day on Monday night, Trinidad and Tobago born rapper Nicki Minaj was mourning the death of her cousin.
The devastated rapper took to her twitter page to announce that her cousin, whom she referred to only as Nicholas, was murdered in his home town of Brooklyn, New York. Nicki tweeted: “My cousin Nicholas. Also goes by Juse, or @brolicalcoholic* Murdered. Last nite. Near his home. Brooklyn,NY”.
The sad news comes as a huge blow at a time when Nicki Minaj should be celebrating her career success. Just last week, she won the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist award at the annual BET awards and she is currently supporting Britney Spear’s on the Canadian leg of the Femme Fatale tour.

If you missed the screening of the Grammy Awards, I don’t blame you. 3am is early, especially with all the music concerts that took place this weekend. I forced myself out of bed, just moments after I got into it, to watch them live. I’m not too sure that was a grand idea. I’m exhausted and I was a bit disappointed by the awards ceremony.
If I had to describe the awards in one sentence I’d say: “Muppets, red gorilla suits, ninjas and eggs: this years Grammy’s went Gaga”. I felt like most artists were trying to be her or beat her, and she was trying to outdo herself.
Yes, Lady Gaga is renowned for her bizarre outfits and over the top performances but her entrance at the Grammy’s was better than her performance. She arrived to the awards in an alien-like egg (shell) which was carried across the red carpet by androgynous looking men & women, dressed in gold. She remained in incubation and hatched out of the egg, on stage, during her performance. I was neither shocked, amused or egg-cited. I just sat there wondering about what gave her that scrambled idea and what bogus rationale she’d give me if I asked her. And what’s with her food fetish? First meat dresses know eggs? Am I the only person who thinks she should stop wearing them and start eating them?

Nicky Minaj arrived in what looked like Lady Gaga’s hand-me downs. But she unashamedly showed it off and said “This outfit is a masterpiece by Givenchy. What they made for me is just a miraculous piece of lioness meets her cub meets fierce-ocity meets fabulosity meets fashionista meets everything.”

Even sensible Gwenth Paltrow joined in the silliness. She and Cee Lo Green sang ”Forget You” a cleaner version of Cee Lo’s “F*ck You”. What an arb performance! Cee Lo Green was dressed in a red gorilla suit, accompanied by Gwenth and the Muppets, and they sang one of the most vulgar songs out right now.
Rihanna wore a an unforgettable dress but had a forgetable performance. Her outfit was almost see through, so that’s a sight thats hard to erase. The chemistry between her and Drake is so beleivable! But her gyrating is not appealling.

If you think the Grammys are an acurate barometer, then Bieber fever is cooling down. The 16-year-old fringe flicker, along with Drake, Florence, The Machine and Mumford & Sons- lost the Best New Artist Award to Esperanza Spalding, a little-known jazz singer. And even though Beiber put on a decent performance, featuring Jaden Smith and an army of ninja’s; The best performance of the night was by 67 year old Mick Jagger.

Christina Aguilera made up for her Superbowl blunder by rememering her lyrics and singing them well during a diva’s tribute to Aretha Franklin. Jennifer Hudson who also took part in the tribute, stole the spotlight, not so much with her voice but with her body. She’s lost 80 pounds (about 40kg) , and she looks great.

I spotted Popstars winner turned actress, Pam Andrews at the Ice Watch launch at Taboo last night. I couldn’t help but do a double take when she walked past me. I could barely recognize her, but I found it hard to ignore her. She was wearing a very eccentric accessory, a purple wig/ weave. Her look was a cross between Nick Minaj’s hair and Katy Perry’s clothes, or is it the other way around?
I can’t say I hate it. What do you think?
