We certainly think it’s a club banger, and should see star, who recently opened up about her eating disorders during her teenage years, back to the top of the RnB charts. We love it.
Put It Down, which also features Chris Brown, was produced by Shondrae “Bangladesh” Crawford and Sean Garrett and co-written by Chris Brown, Shondrae Crawford, and Sean Garrett.
It looks like the general public has finally forgiven Chris Brown for beating up his former girlfriend Rihanna. But a controversial mix-up that occurred when winners were announced in the viewer’s choice category at the BET Awards has fans confused about the two stars.
During the awards a fan was presenting the Coca-Cola Viewer’s Choice Award and called Chris Browns name out as the winner (they use computer tablets not envelopes) but then it quickly changed to Rihanna. While the confused audience was gasping, muttering and exchanging whispers; Canadian rapper Drake awkwardly appeared on stage and accepted the award on Rihanna’s behalf (she didn’t attend the awards, despite winning for female R&B artist).
“Well, this is awkward,” said Drake, as he accepted Rhianna’s award for their hit “What’s My Name”. But what really made the situation awkward was how the host Kevin Hart bought out Chris Brown to tell him that he was the rightful/ intended winner of the trophy even though Rihanna’s name was on the teleprompter.
But what made the situation more awkward was at the end of the ceremony
At the conclusion of the ceremony, host Kevin Hart bought out Chris Brown to tell him he was actually the intended winner of the trophy, along with the FANdemonium Award. Talk about awkward — especially as a chunk of the audience had already began filing out of the venue.
After a yearlong public plea for redemption that had some people feeling sorry for him and others disgusted by him. It seems like 22-year-old RnB artist, Chris Brown is back in America’s good books again.
On Sunday night he was the comeback kid and the man of the moment at the BET Awards as he collected four awards, including male R&B artist, ,video of the year and collaboration for “Look at Me Now”.
“All my fans are everything to me,” he said, while accepting the award for male R&B artist. “I know it’s been a long road. I just appreciate every blessing that’s been put in front of me.”
Rihanna portrays a rape victim in her latest video, ‘Man Down,’ who commits premeditated murder against her offender with the shot of a gun. The video has been deemed too violent by The Parents Television Council and they are trying to get BET and other channels to stop airing it.
The groups are also angry because Rihanna has promoted the video on her twitter account stating that the theme of the video was female empowerment.
Well here’s the video, what do you think?

Chris Brown did something right this week – he impressed the audience and judges with his dance moves on the US reality show Dancing With The Stars.
The R&B singer, who has been in the media for temper tantrums as of late, appeared on the reality TV show and performed two of his hits, Yeah X3 and Forever.
He gave an energetic performance and received a standing ovation from the audience and all three judges.
If you haven’t watched Chris Brown’s interview with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America, I suggest you do. How can you form an opinion based on other people’s interpretation of the incident?
If you don’t mind foul language, sexist remarks and love a good laugh then check out this Chris Brown interview spoof (I’d post it on the blog but I’d probably get fired): CLICK HERE
It looks like Chris Brown’s Good Morning America outburst is helping him and harming him at the same time. Reuters reports that the incident has divided his fans and helped his album soar.
Die hard fans are defending him while others are calling for the cancellation of a planned performance on “Dancing with the stars”.
But on the flip-side: his new album F.A.ME was the most downloaded album on iTunes on the first day of release.

A livid, shirtless, Chris Brown stormed out of the “Good Morning America” studio set after the shows co-anchor Robin Roberts asked him about his ex girlfriend, Rihanna. According to E!Online a visibly upset Chris Brow reportedly threw a chair at a window in his dressing room, then ripped off his shirt before leaving the building after being questioned about Rihanna.
Chris Brown was on the show to promote his latest album F.A.M.E but Robin Roberts questioned him about his current situation with singer Rihanna several times.
Robin Roberts asked: “What’s going on now is that recently, the restraining order against you that Rihanna had issued has been relaxed . have you seen each other, been around each other?”
Chris Brown replied: “I mean not really, it’s not really a big deal, that situation. I think I’m past that in my life, and I think today’s the album day so that’s what I’m focused on, so everyone go and get that album.
“I’ve been focused on this album … definitely this album is what I want them to talk about, and not the kind of stuff that happened two years ago.”
Brown added that his new LP’s title, F.A.M.E, stands for “forgiving all my enemies and fans of my everything,” in particular those who stood by him in “everything that I went through”.
After the interview Chris Brown performed a song on the show, then he got to his dressing room and started screaming, losing his temper and then he stormed out.
TMZ reports that soon after the incident, Brown tweeted, “I’m so over people bringing this past … up!!! Yet we praise Charlie Sheen and other celebs …” But later on Chris removed the tweet.
What do you think about this incident? Did Chris Brown overreact or did Robin Roberts push too hard?
No no no, not together (phew!), but it seems celebrities do not learn from previous ‘leaks’ of naked pictures.
Well, the latest ‘victims’ are Chris Brown and Britney Spears.
Britney is being sued by an ex-bodyguard, Fernando Flores, who alleges the superstar sent him nude pictures of herself, in compromising positions nogal.
Of course Britney denies the claim, but Fernando is going ahead with his lawsuit (he lodged a sexual harassment case against the singer) and is threatening to release the pictures, which a ‘friend of Fernando’ says will shock and disgust Britney’s fans.
And then there’s Chris Brown – who I thought was getting his life back after the Rihanna-beating incident.
The internet went crazy this weekend, after an ex ‘leaked’ nude pictures of Chris standing in front of a mirror while taking his phone up to take a snapshot.
In the picture, ‘Chris’ sports blonde hair (his fairly new hairdo) and tattoos, similar to the singer’s.
Then again, there’s no such thing as bad publicity right? After all, it helps so many artists when they’re about to release a new album or movie.
Speaking of, Chris is releasing his new CD in three weeks which will be followed by a world tour.
