According to People.com actress America Ferrera, who’s famed for her role as ‘Ugly Betty’, wed her longtime boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams. The couple reportedly tied the knot in an intimate setting amongst friends and family on Monday night.
Ferrera’s ‘Ugly Betty’ co-stars Vanessa Williams and Rebecca Romjin were amongst those who attended the ceremony.
Ferrera’s husband Ryan Piers Williams also works in the entertainment industry as a filmmaker. He directed “The Dry Land,” an independent film that was released last year and starred his then girlfriend, Ferrera.

Transformers star, Shia LaBeouf claims that he slept with his former Transformers co-star Megan Fox.
details. com reports that LaBeouf gave an affirmative nod when he was asked about sleeping with Megan Fox and he is quoted saying “Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them,” and adds “I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.”
I don’t know whether LaBeouf is telling the truth but I don’t think he’s stupid enough to lie, especially to a reporter. One thing is certain though, boys who kiss and tell aren’t sexy!

A wax figure of Alicia Keys was debuted at Madame Tussauds museum in Times Square, New York on the eve of a celebratory concert commemorating the 10th anniversary of her debut album “Songs In A Minor”.
The 30-year-old-singer was so pleased with her leather-sporting doppelganger that she kept kissing it and raving to journalists and photographers.
She told MTV News, “I actually think it’s really, really good!” She went on to point out the similarity as saying, “I was looking close up: It’s like my eyebrows are for real, and it’s like my eyes are for real, and the bone structure of my chin, like, ‘Look, that’s my chin! That’s my jaw!’ “
Her wax figure will stand alongside ones of Woody Allen, Frank Sinatra and Regis Philbin.

Beyoncé Knowles is turning 30 on September 4 and says she initially wanted to retire from the spotlight and start a family when she hit her 30s, but now that she’s months away from her birthday she’s not so sure.
Speaking on TV show Piers Morgan Tonight she said: “I always said I’d have a baby at 30. I’m 29. But I also said I was going to retire at 30. I’m not retiring. Only God knows.”
Despite having doubts about her readiness to be a mother, she did say that she’s looking ready forward to her 30s because she feels like she’s outgrown her 20s.
She said: “Twenty nine is very strange. You’re still in your 20s, but you feel like you’re supposed to be 30, and I feel like a woman. I feel like 30 is the ideal age, because you’re mature enough to know who you are and have your boundaries and your standards and not be afraid or too polite, but young enough to be a young woman. I’m so looking forward to it.”

It looks like the general public has finally forgiven Chris Brown for beating up his former girlfriend Rihanna. But a controversial mix-up that occurred when winners were announced in the viewer’s choice category at the BET Awards has fans confused about the two stars.
During the awards a fan was presenting the Coca-Cola Viewer’s Choice Award and called Chris Browns name out as the winner (they use computer tablets not envelopes) but then it quickly changed to Rihanna. While the confused audience was gasping, muttering and exchanging whispers; Canadian rapper Drake awkwardly appeared on stage and accepted the award on Rihanna’s behalf (she didn’t attend the awards, despite winning for female R&B artist).
“Well, this is awkward,” said Drake, as he accepted Rhianna’s award for their hit “What’s My Name”. But what really made the situation awkward was how the host Kevin Hart bought out Chris Brown to tell him that he was the rightful/ intended winner of the trophy even though Rihanna’s name was on the teleprompter.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, host Kevin Hart bought out Chris Brown to tell him he was actually the intended winner of the trophy, along with the FANdemonium Award. Talk about awkward — especially as a chunk of the audience had already began filing out of the venue.

After a yearlong public plea for redemption that had some people feeling sorry for him and others disgusted by him. It seems like 22-year-old RnB artist, Chris Brown is back in America’s good books again.
On Sunday night he was the comeback kid and the man of the moment at the BET Awards as he collected four awards, including male R&B artist, ,video of the year and collaboration for “Look at Me Now”.
“All my fans are everything to me,” he said, while accepting the award for male R&B artist. “I know it’s been a long road. I just appreciate every blessing that’s been put in front of me.”

As someone who’s perpetually cold, there are very few events that can get me excited enough to switch off my electric blanket and put on my dancing shoes. MTV Base’s Spanking New VS Brand New gig is one of them. To celebrate their first year on DSTV compact, MTV Base is taking over club Hush in Rosebank to host one hell of a party.
With headlining performances by Zakes Bantwini and Tumi And The Volume accompanied by DJ’s Vigilante, Kenzhero, Switch, Lulo Cafe, Franky and Spehectacular, I’d describe it as the best of local house and hip-hop .
MTV Base is notorious for throwing epic parties so R100 is a small price to pay.

American Rapper, Ja Rule accompanied by his wife Aisha Atkins, arrived at the Manhattan Supreme Court, to begin a two-year prison sentence in New York. Ja Rule, whose original name is Jeffrey Atkins, pleaded guilty to weapons charges for having a loaded gun in his luxury sports car as he left a concert in New York City in 2007.
The rapper pleaded guilty to the charges and says he will accept the consequences of his actions, he told Fox 5 TV’s Good Day New York on Monday that “laws are laws”.
Ja Rule also faces the possibility of a federal prison sentence for failing to pay taxes on more than $3 million in income from 2004 through 2008, even though he was making money from royalties and live tours.

SAMA Award winning electro-pop duo, Loconville are furious after allegedly being assaulted by police at petrol station in Claremont, Cape Town.
This morning Kaya FM reported that the Locnville twins, Andrew and Brain Chaplin were walking there with a friend in the early hours of the morning when a group of people confronted them, insulted them about their music and started a fight.The cops allegedly intervened, maced Brian in the face and punched their friend.
Soon after the incident the shocked twins took to their Facebook and Twitter account to vent about the ordeal.
Locnville admitted that they had been drinking, but said they did not start the fight.
