Wow – note to self – remember to enter this competition. The winners Jenny Andrews for her super clever shoot using Hazel Buchan’s paper designs for Wanted and Milisuthando Bongela for breaking the Street Smarties story in Elle, each won R25 000 towards a trip to a major fashion destination.

The only people really worth catching on film were the ever-stylish fashion editors. Oh, and if anyone feels like writing a book about a shoe collectiong, I think Sharon Becker from ELLE must have the greatest collection ever. These grey boots are Galliano from Nina Roche (she said they were killing her!) and the gold platforms are Marc Jacobs.”

We are launching a whole new street style feature with Elle magazine shot by the lovely Sharon Becker their brilliant fashion editor. So here goes. We are in between seasons as you might all be experiencing much to your horror – here are two lovely looks to tide us over.

And now, making her umpteenth appearance on the Frock Report, this year’s belle of the ball, Elle fashion editor Sharon Becker. She wears a signature piece from 2007 Elle New Talent Winner Tiaan Nagel’s Spring/Summer collection. It’s a collection, said a breathless Elle editor Jackie Burger before announcing the new winner, that makes all the Elle team’s work worthwhile.
