Designer Tiaan Nagel’s autumn/winter collection is inspired by Japanese architect Tadao Ando and Johannesburg’s urban forestry. This is the critically acclaimed collection Nagel showcased at SAFW AW12. The structural shapes and minimal detail had us all eating out of his hand as Nagel gave what was one of the season’s best shows. Here are the images from the new campaign:
This winter, Tiaan Nagel is also offering ‘Made to Measure’, a collection that reflects the design house’s idea of contemporary dressing. As the title of the collection suggests pieces are specifically produced to your measurements.

Fashion icon and music sensation Beyonce has recently launched a Tumblr account, offering fans an intimate glimpse into her everyday life. Featuring images of herself, her sister Solange – a trendsetter in her own right – and her husband Jay-Z, the blog has a very personal feel, showcasing Beyonce’s jet setting lifestyle in all its glory. “This is my life, today, over the years – through my eyes. My family, my travels, my love.” reads the description. Click here for more.

I came across the Marion and Lindie S/S 2011 campaign whilst browsing through international fashion photography site Touchpuppet. Shot by Jesse-Leigh Elford, the images have me swooning!
In a recent interview with iFashion, Danica Lepen, designer behind the brand, described her philosophy: “I think it’s really important to be aware of the trends, but I don’t think one should be too trend focused…if you’re buying something it needs to have longevity, to last through the seasons.” For me, this statement captures the brand’s S/S collection perfectly – I can’t wait for it to hit stores.

Coats; herringbone, plaid and quilted. Shearling, tweed and even vinyl. This was the spirit of the Burberry Prorsum Menswear Fall collection in Milan at the weekend. Head designer Christopher Bailey is clearly a coat lover, but then again, don’t we all want a Burberry Coat, huh? Here are a couple of looks I selected from a range of pictures.

A collection grounded in the aged old Burberry brand heritage. Not terribly exciting, but a Burberry coat will do for me, too
