Dispatches from the front row of fashion and style…

Acclaimed fashion designer David Tlale’s Van Der Tlale diffusion line was launched at the Military History Museum in Saxonwold, Johannesburg on Thursday last week. Tlale himself took centre stage, sitting on a battlewagon with several male models surrounding him as the female models strut their stuff in VDT. The collection itself did not lack the drama we’ve come to expect of David Tlale with an abundance of shimmer and glam that the Legit customer will most probably appreciate. Current trends including bright colours and faux-fur trimmed coats also made a strong appearance as did several young celebrities- Nandi Mngoma, Lalla Hirayama and Selimathunzi’s Zizo Beda- who also took their turns to sashay down the ramp in VDT.
