Shorts for summer, boys! That is what the only two houses- Carducci and Fabiani- showcasing menswear at Cape Town Fashion Week say. I think I could count as many shorts as long trousers in these two shows. I almost always find menswear shows nauseatingly pedestrian and boring as I feel we are shown what is on offer in stores rather than actual collections. I have to say though, the colours, the hints of prints and light fabrication (especially at Carducci) reflected that trends for men are not so far off from those for women.
