After 23 years of working under its founding designer Bill Gaytton has been named John Galliano’s successor by the latter’s fashion house. Christian Dior, who are the major shareholders of the label started by John Galliano, fired him within days of his arrest for anti-Semitic remarks. Galliano faced trial on Wednesday over the incident and told a Paris court that alcohol and medical drug addiction left him unable to recall making the alleged racist remarks. He is still undergoing rehabilitation.
I think Bill Gayton is an awesome designer and will certainly deliver John Galliono’s brand the justice it deserves.
Ermm.. is the rehab for the racist comments or the anti-semitic ones – rehab for alco & drugs is so passe! lol
