Google Fashion Store

Google has launched an e-commerce site that brings blogging, social networking and online shopping together in what pundits are calling a revolution in online shopping. Not only does Google’s new fashion store (which went live on Wednesday) allow you to buy clothes but you can also build your own boutique, based on your personal taste in style. Various boutique styled on celebrity red carpet looks and popular bloggers are already up on the site and shoppers can “follow” a boutique as they would a Twitter profile. In addition to that shoppers can buy clothes based on trends and even get fashion advise in the form of street style photos that show how you can wear an item you’ve just bought. Methinks this is a fresh and fun way to shop and it also wouldn’t hurt to own a boutique, virtual as it may be!
