Whilst Jerry Hall is happy to recline with Baptiste Giabiconi for Karl Lagerfeld it’s not a situation she would want to replicate outside the realms of a Chanel accessories collection advertisment campaign. It seems that Jerry has not found Jesus. Unlike Madge, although I would argue that Baptiste could convert anyone. Apparently the shoot is inspired by Cheri, the romantic novel by Colette, which tells the tale of a prostitute of a certain age who is pursued by a young man who is in madly in love with her.

I love this campaign! The insinuation of naughtiness, the fabulously gorgeous Baptiste, the re-birth of “the cougar”, and most of all that bag!
