48 wines from Bot River and 102 from Elgin gave us plenty to think about yesterday.

Fabulous Condrieu-style Viognier and cool climate minty Syrah in Bot River (below) and some awesome Chardonnays from Elgin (above). Fleshing out the terroir map some more today at La Vierge on the hymen of the Hemel en Aarde Valley. A religious experience beckons…
