So it’s down to six… six young and talented South Africans, who will be battling it out tonight for the first ever title of SA’s Got Talent. Well it’s the title that’s cool, but the 250k prize isn’t all that bad either. Here are the six finalists:
Twelve year old hip hop/contemporary dance sensation Kalon Badenhorst from Johannesburg
Singers Willem and Louis Van Der Merwe from Stellenbosch

Beat boxer George Avakian, who seems to be everywhere at the moment. This year alone, I’ve seen him on this show, Idols and the Nandos Jozi Comedy Festival. Rumour has it, he’s just been offered the opportunity to perform on SNL in the US. So does he need to win I ask myself?

Guitarist Louwtjie Rothman is also one of the finalists.

Hip hop dancer Darren Rajbal and singer Cleo Filande
