In 2003, 5 Afrikaans South Africans decided to start a band. Their name? Fokofpolisiekar. Their genre? Punk music, which many thought oh well here we go, but the band proved their critics wrong and instead picked up a massive following. Now showing in theatres, comes a documentary about the band over a period of four years. In the documentary, viewers will see how the band place themselves in the new South Africa, as an Afrikaans band and how they question, challenge and say things that a lot of people weren’t prepared to say.
