McCain’s bad joke: Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly?

My radar missed this. Ten years ago, McCain told a joke at a Republican “family values” Party dinner. It was very underreported then, as it is now. The joke is not only offensive, it’s also bad.

“Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly?
Because her father is Janet Reno.”

Chelsea was not yet 18. Janet Reno was the first female Attorney General of the US, appointed by Bill Clinton in 1993. Remember those gawky teenage years, Mr McCain?
