free at last

Later this week you can catch a movie or two at the Free at Last film festival to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nelson Mandela’s release from prison and our country’s freedom. Remember that long hot Sunday?

I am hoping to get to Maponya Mall in Soweto on Thursday night to watch Mandela: Son of Africa, Father of a Nation by Jo Menell and Angus Gibson – that’s if I don’t fall asleep putting my children to bed before then.

Go to here to check the programme.
