What do you think of livestreaming your birth experience? Odd? I wasn’t interested in taking pictures or filming any of my birthing experiences. But I know lots of people who are. To me they were very private, physical and personal experiences. The intensity of the moments will help me remember them forever without visual evidence. Snaps of the newborn darlings I do have, to map their growth and remember their freshly exposed faces.
Here is a first though. Solveig Gannet entered the world as her birth was livestreamed on the internet. Her mother, Lynsee Gannett filmed the experience for MomsLikeMe.com. The little sprog, who is now “the youngest oversharer in the history of the internet”, looks adorable. If you’re not too squeamish watch how Solveig enters the world:
