Now why would this young lady lie about her gender. Regardless of gender Caster Semenya is so fast, as a young lady- if she competed against any male, she would still be breaking record’s. We do not know her story, her fears, her total situation. Her looks are giving to her by GOD. She can’t change that. No matter what the out come of the test and the media. We know that this person is a outstanding and dedicated athelet. If there is any deception, we should forgive and move on. look forward to seeing this person excel in any arena. To the athlete my prayers are with you and your family.

i think her achivement, especially as an 18 year old shocked the world . so to justify what they thought was impossible, they had to find something negative and degrading. Caster We Celebrate you. i celebrate you!!! you have shown the world that its not about where you come from, but where you want to go.

Her situation is the same as 50% of the population (she has testes which produce sperm and no ovaries). Now in non-scientific language she is a he. Granted, he might need an operation to get them back in the trouser region, but that should have been done at birth. Yes he is a fine runner, and should be competing amongst his own kind. He would probably have more fun with a bit more competetion anyway.

It’s not his fault by the way (I’m sure he didn’t know), and the media could have been more sensitive, but doctors should have picked this up 18 years ago. Undecended testes is a very common birth problem and is easily fixed.

Stop referring to Caster as “he”. Caster has no *****, and her testes do not produce viable sperm. While she does have elevated testosterone levels, they are within limits for a woman and no where near a man’s typical level. Caster has a ******. She is a woman!

Caster is not a he! George, that’s arrogance right there…not everyone can afford to run these “fancy tests” and checks at birth. As a rural girl myself, I know that the hospital just looks below and decides on the gender of the child… You must have had a very privilleged background to think its that simple to know these things.
