Two mothers voted yesterday in London. Eish, all that baby baggage! They joined 7470 othersĀ  at the South African High Commission on Trafalgar Square. Apparently the overseas voting went ‘fantastically’ well. So pleased for them. Less than a week to go till election day here, and I feel totally uninspired. Zuma is intriguing, and the politics are theatrical but I can’t vote for him. What to do? Nobody else is inspiring me.

Update: Read Ray’s post Ode to the Undecided Voter.

Bugger the inspiration, we have to vote to stop the ANC from achieving a two-thirds majority and to signal that will no longer accept poor governance and corrupt ANC behaviours. Vote for the opposition party that has the best chance of unseating the ANC in your ward. Make your vote count or you will have no right to criticize any of the abuses that will be perpetrated by the ANC regime over the next five years.
