Can´t blacks see the irony in claiming they are offended by the cartoon because they see it as racist?

The only reason it’s racist is because people have been calling those of african decent monkeys for years. Just look at old cartoons from back in the day where black people were depicted in the likeness of chimps. There is no scientific bases that shows that darker skinned people are closer related to apes then lighter skinned people.
