The lovely Kate Winslet who last night won two Golden Globe awards forgot Angelina Jolie’s name in her acceptace speech! Winslet won the best actress prize for Revolutionary Road, directed by her husband, Sam Mendes. And she won best supporting actress for her performance in The Reader.

The Telegraph reports that:

In one wince-inducing moment, she praised rival actresses Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Kristin Scott Thomas but momentarily forgot the name of “the other one” – Angelina Jolie…

She said: “I’m so sorry Anne, Meryl, Kristin – oh God, who’s the other one… Angelina!”

She forgot Angelina’s name because when she viewed Changeling Kate knew Angelina’s performance was not worthy of an Oscar and was no competition. LOL….

I can not believe she did that.

Angelina deserved the award. How could she forget Angelina’s name???

Everyone is talking about this supposed snub; but what about Anne Hathaway? She was the odds on favorite and an apparent leak had her circled as the winner. How must she have felt? I think Angie felt her chances were at best 25%.

i’m proud of that night like the rest of britain…

but wtf, kate!

a great, professional actress who’s acted before crowds countless times, and she produces this gut-shrinking gushy performance- and hello, forgets a co-nominee’s name, THEN calls her “the other one!”

and this not for a nobel, not an oscar, but a god-damn golden globe.

great kodak moment, kate. shesh.
