A ‘mythical’ track played only once by the Beatles still exists. Sir Paul McCartney has a master tape of Carnival of Light and is hoping to release it – after permission is granted to do so by the estates of John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

Apparently it is a very experimental piece, inspired by composers such as John Cage, and was thought to be too adventurous when it was first performed. It sounds interesting. I like the idea of a Beatles/Cage mix.
