The Guardian reported yesterday that a  new video has emerged showing Sarah Palin playing a central role in a church service in Alaska in which witchcraft is denounced.

Thomas Muthee, a Kenyan pastor, made a passionate plea: “In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, every form of witchcraft is what you rebuke. In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, father make away now.”

I am sure that the US press will be asking her questions about this very soon. Or as soon as the McCain campaign let’s her talk to the press after her sterling performance in the interview with Katie Couric on CBS last night. See my blog on this.

As a Charismatic Christian and born again evangelical, the belief in principalities and power is a common one. So is rebuking Satan and demonic influences at work in the earth. Problem is…its not common in the greater US and so Palin will have to deal with it.

“Common” among the ignorant, perhaps.

After all the filth that was said about Obama , so-called patriotic Americans import this strutting, superstitious “witch-hunting” murderer to “bless” their trashing of our First Amendment and to call for westerners to believe in demons again. It’s beyond farce. This man gained political power by accusing helpless elderly Africans of being “witches” and it’s not funny or heartwarming or apple pie.

This is the civilized world, or it should be. Why are my fellow Americans hankering for primitive silliness that can only take us backward into ignorance and disease? Wicca is a protected religious belief, I might add. How dare this fool “bless” a sham candidacy in a secular democracy that he obviously cannot understand?

Ha! Don’t count on the US press doing its job. Most people who work in journalism are drooling idiots.

Did Jesus also tell Palin & Pastor Muthee that a godly woman puts her baby with special needs and young children before her need for power fame or even a political career?
The fact that she did not hesitate to accept the VP without even praying about this or respecting her husbands opinion who (biblical) is the head & Priest of her home speaks volumes about how devout she really is.

If it is Pastor Thomas Muthees job & calling to rebuke & cast out demons he can find more than enough in most churches to keep busy till Jesus comes back to earth. He can start with Ms Palin.

I meant to say he can start praying for Ms Palin to stop being so divisive, untruthful and anti-Christian. Trying to win at any cost no matter the method is ungodly!!!!
So you are thinking this applies to Obama as well but he is not running as a devout Christian like Ms Palin.
