Pacquiao v Cotto – here’s something light-hearted for a change of pace. Enjoy!
Pacquiao’s limerick:
There was a good boxer called Manny
Who put men to sleep like a nanny
He bid them goodnight
With a left and a right
He’s too strong, too quick and too canny!

If only Leonard Chuene could keep his mouth shut all the time
Leonard Chuene is now denying that he lied about Caster Semenya (click here to read the latest story). And to read the article where he himself – using his own mouth – admitted to lying, click here.
Is he so stupid to think that we’ve forgotten him apologising for lying? Hmmm, I won’t answer that … mind you, he was addressing Parliament, or more specifically, the sports portfolio committee chaired by his buddy Butana Komphela.
Doesn’t that count as contempt of Parliament?
Anyway, here’s a limerick to that mampara Chuene, who clearly will remain as Athletics SA president until the day he dies!
There was an old fool called Len
Who’s lying to us again
He said he lied
Now he’s denied
For truth he gets zilch outta 10!

Bye bye Bafana
There was an old coach called Joel
Whose team couldn’t score a goal
But he took the blame
For a side that’s lame
Now he’s back in Brazil on the dole
There was an old man called Len
Who made athletics his den
But he raised much ire
When exposed as a liar
He was not a man among men!
