all this shows me is that people are getting caught up in this Manny Pacquiao pound for pound hype

Mayweather has never been beaten not because like some want to make because he is ducking people but due to the fact that he is clearly the best boxer out there

truthfully i think he’d struggle more with Mosley than Pacquiao coz Shane is a true welterweight

If you Floyd guys are so confident he can beat the Pac, then tell your fighter to honor the catch weight and agree to a 70-30 split for the winner, with a stipulation that the fighter who does not make weight pays $1M for every pound in excess, and a waiver to the 70% cut and instead just get 50% of the pie should he win.

Floyd should have no problems with these stipulations if he is even worth half of of what he says. If he doesn’t agree, then we all know he just wants to make money of the Pac and is just making excuses not to fight him.

Surely, being a countrymate, I do know Manny as a true born fighter. I have seen this kid rose to fame by his prowess sharpen by the edges and polish by years of hard works, It took lot of blood and tears to brought him to his peak of maturity…He had nothing to prove to himself for the moment, and this fight with Floyd is all but money and not much of guts and glory. I’m betting my bottom dollar that no one could could break his 7th time weight class accomplistment for the next 50 years. Poll result just shows how high they honor pacquiao as the unstoppable force in the welterweight division, with the recent showing of pacquiao vs cotto, it is a big statement for a man who rose from flyweight to knock out the best welterweight had to offer, I mean mayweather can do all the talking he use to do and probably find ways not to face pacquiao but people who watch boxing demands this fight to happen. I believe pacquiao can give mayweather the worst beating he didnt experience, the fight with castillo is the closest, i pick pacquiao to take atleast 10 rounds before mayweather kisses the canvas…

Floyd will once again duck a fighter whom he thinks can give him a loss… Floyd is too afraid to face someone his own size and skills. Eventhough many thinks that Pacquiao is small compared to him, money mayweather will not stand a chance to the onslaught that pacquiao will bring to the fight. The only way to beat pacquiao is to match his power and speed. Speed here referring to punching speed and not running speed. Without a doubt these 2 warriors are included in the best boxers of all time.These fighters has 2 distinctive yet opposite characteristics to justify the fight.One has a boastful image who normally bad mouthed his opponents vs a humble and God believer person.Boxing experts would always say “styles makes fight” where one is a defensive specialists who seldom throw punches but has a very high % that it will land while the other will through multiple punches with a lower percentage.With this given I think it boils down to who are the audience and how would they define excitement.I think the bulk of audience would like to see a jump pack of action rather than defending himself which is why Pac has the most believers that he’ll win this fight.

Pacquiao will defeat Mayweather bc he has the tools to defeat Mayweather. To say that Manny is too small for Mayweather is absolutely false. Ask Cotto. Pacquiao’s power was too much for Cotto to handle which is why Pacquiao won by TKO. People need to wake up & realize Little Manny is strong enough to hurt a legitimate welterweight. Not only does Manny have the power to handle Mayweather but he also has the speed. Mayweather is fast but so is Manny. The winner of this fight will be the one who has the best strategy and is able to execute it perfectly. Freddie Roach is a master strategist and Manny is the perfect pupil to execute the master plan. Mayweather is only fighting off of natural talent & he has not been improving in the same fashion as Manny has who is versatile and adaptable & gets better & better each fight. If you think Manny is good now expect him to be even better when he fights Mayweather. Nobody has been able to figure out the Mayweather puzzle due to his superior defense, quick hand & foot speed, and propensity to run all night. However, there are many patterns in Mayweather’s punches which can be blocked and even countered. Dela Hoya was able to block many of his signature punches but he didn’t have the stamina to continue with the game plan. Dela Hoya’s jab was enough to hold Mayweather at bay but stopped throwing it in the 2nd half due to poor stamina. As Dela Hoya said, there were many openings he saw against Mayweather but he just couldn’t pull the trigger bc he was too old & too slow. In Manny’s case, when he sees these openings he will be able to hit Mayweather bc he has the speed to close the gap. Even Jose Luis Castillo says Manny is stronger & faster than Mayweather. In Castillo’s first fight against Mayweather many boxing analysts gave the decision to Castillo due to landing more total punches & power punches but since Mayweather was more flashy & impressive with his punches, the judges gave him the decision. Freddie Roach is very good at studying opponents and he will certainly figure out Mayweather. He just needs the perfect boxer to execute his game plan and Pacquiao is the perfect person to do it. Just as Roberto Duran was the 1st to defeat Sugar Ray Leonard, Manny Pacquiao will be the 1st to defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Floyd doesn’t have the power to hurt Pacquiao. All he does is try to outpoint his oopnents w/ his patty-cake tactics. You really thin that his pitty-pat punchesd will do damage? With Floyd’s constant back-pedalling, it can take aone slight punch from Pacman to push Floyd’s tush to the canvas. Pac has the engine to keep up from the ever-running Floyd.

You can prep prep all you like but to think that Pacquiao will beat Floyd is a pipe dream. A closer look at who has been beaten by Pacquiao tells the story. Just a quick reminder, do you remember how easy Morales beat Pacquiao in 2003? Mind you that was a Morales that had gone past his prime. Secondly boxing pundits agree that a win against Marquez particularly for the second fight had more to do with who sells more pay-per-views, not necessarily that he won that fight. We all saw what happened! An important boxing note though is that no boxer of PBF’s artistery was beaten by a one dimensional Pacquiao. A nimble, accurate puncher who happens to have the best defense in boxing history like Floyd, will prove too much for an easily annoyed Pacman. If you doubt that you just have to look at the middle rounds between him and Cotto when he even called Miguel into the center of the ring. Why? Because that is what he knows and is used to, fighters whose weight is in their front leg.

So you are more than free to believe whatever you want. But when that day comes, you will see the power of being multidimensional in boxing. History has taught me to always go with the boxer than a fighter! Floyd’s lateral movement will make him an elusive target for Pacquiao.

When that day comes, I am even willing to put my money where my mouth is! Floyd is one of a kind and since I was raised not to be a hater or to be subjective on issues, I give credit where it’s due!
