ANC YOUTH LEAGUE STATEMENT AFTER THE MEETING WITH UNIVERSITY OF FREE STATE VICE CHANCELLOR, PROFESSOR JONATHAN JANSEN:
29 October 2009

The African National Congress Youth League met with the Vice Chancellor of the University of Free State, Professor Jonathan Jansen on Thursday, the 29th of October 2009. The ANC Youth League expressed its disappointment with the manner in which the Vice Chancellor handled the Reitz Residence issue, but noted the following:
1. That the University of Free State is a racially divided and racist institution of higher learning.
2. That there is a long way to go to in transforming the University of Free State into a truly representative institution of Higher Learning.
3. That Professor Jonathan Jansen acknowledges the racist culture of the University and willing to redress these realities.
4. That the Reitz Residence incident is but one of the many racist manifestations happening at the University.
5. That there various challenges confronting black students and disadvantaging them to make adequate academic progress.

In acknowledgment of these realities, the Meeting agreed on the following:

1. That the Reitz Residence students who committed the racist acts should take responsibility for their actions. The University should in this instance set a non-negotiable pre-condition that the racist students should apologise, be remorseful and agree to go through a corrective disciplinary process, if they are to be re-integrated into the University.
2. That the University will intensify the racial integration programme in all residences, putting an end racially segregated residences and ensuring that ultimately, there is equal number of black and white students in all residences.
3. That the University set an all inclusive process of truth and reconciliation process, wherein students and staff members from all races who have encountered racial injustices in the past speak openly about these encounters and a process to address them put in place.
4. That the University look into the issue of timetable for English and Afrikaans Courses, so as to ensure that English courses are issued at the same time as Afrikaans courses, to ensure that those who take these courses attend to them on time.
5. That the working conditions of workers should be changed after a proper consultation by the Vice Chancellor with the affected workers and respond to the issue of reparations.

The ANC YL appreciates the University Vice Chancellor’s programme to recruiting black Professors and academics into the University so as to balance the racial outlook of the University Senate and academia. The ANC YL believes that Professor Jonathan Jansen should continue as Vice Chancellor of the University of Free State, and will watch very closely the transformation programme of the University of Free State under his leadership.

Now we know who the absurdly named ‘Friend-of-Reason’ with his stupid lists is. An ANCYL ‘intellectual’. Bwahahahaha

It seems that Malema just wants to be made to feel important before he will allow reasoning to apply to his discourse.

So he meets with Jansen, and he can now pronounce a far softened approach as opposed to his usual vitriol.

Apply a little Staysoft and you have a relaxed, but important boy.

I think the drie boertjies must learn the lesson in a hard way. Africans have suffered a lot in the hands of such people who lack coherent that has thick texture of stubbornness that transgress to stupidity. We have forgiven enough to this racist Afrikaners’ .We even set up institution like Human rights commissions, Truth and reconciliation commission and worst part including part of “De stem” to our national anthem and Madiba’s recociliation. What more? Let’s drive them into the sea, ones and for all because they never appreciated our efforts. Let alone the killings and suffering during apartheid we endure.

Go hang all white racist!gohang!

I am also appealing to our black brothers and sisters in this country not to succumb to white racist be it at work place, bars or even small Boer dorpies like Orania or Ventersdorp or Institutions like Tukkies,UFS or Potchefstroom University.

Terreblanche and your buddies in a form of weestandige beweeging we are warning you. Never underestimate the strength of the black man in this country. Remember we have fought guns with stone and emerge victorious.

Personally I am not afraid of any white man who tries to pull some racist remarks on me because he or she will regret the day he /she were born white.

I am proudly black African who takes no prisoners. This is our father land.

Aluta continua!!!!! Amandla

Reggie Radebe

I laugh in your face. The thirty pekkies have never been able to deal with the three boertjies, except to ‘dankie baas’ them for all that they did for them.

If push comes to shove, 500 blacks will die for every one white. Mandela knew this and even Malema knows this. Stick to fighting and killing amongst yourselves, since this is all you were ever good at.

Better yet, best you keep quiet.

Reggie Radebe is just another nom-de-plume for Nkosinaartjie Khanyile and Zanu-PF 4 Life. The is the same brand of unique stupidity and can never be regarded as rational discourse.

Larry and Eli Jikelele again you are denialist with your deep rooted anger of racism you are harboring from birth.

I feel pity for you and do not blame you but the great trek.I understand your exaggerated consciences and misdirected anger by trying so hard to protect white supremacy under the banner of racism.

Let alone of your ego that is driven by insecurities which translates to false sense of inferiority complex.

Good luck with racism marketing drive but one day you will realise.Try your luck in Canada may be they will grant you citizenship based on cowardice.

Hi ther LARRY and ELI
Long time since I was able to get something stuck to this page. It is not that I have not tried now and again but I gave up at one stage because of the mess. Please read on the blog regarding Manuel’s car. I wrote a comment there which might be worth reading.
I see the stories here are the same. The names might change but the direction and stupidity of some, remains the same.
I just need to say. Some people are racist and have bad comments because they would like to be white, like you Larry. and because they cannot be, they become racist.
IGenerally speaking it must be nice to be white because it is a fact that God seems to have blessed whites with some of the better things in life; like intelligence, looks, and other nice things. but then again I am not racist because I have not got all those nice things.

Hey Sko, nice to hear from you. Dont be a stranger and dont be a fishcake.

Its not about what’s in your bank account or whether you are good looking or not (different standards apply, and good looks dont run in my family); – its what’s in your head that counts.

Different people and different ethnic groups think differently, and it is this distinction only that engenders some to success and some to neverending failure and inability.

For example, Eli thinks very differently to his fellow black brethren, and often has to bear the brunt of their scornful attitudes to his being different. But he has attained great successes in his life; – his ability to develop beneficial ‘thinking’ being one of them.
I dont know Eli personally but I get a good sense of him and his thinking by his clear and confident rationale.

My people have been developing the same for eons. Most of your people have not got a clue.
