SIGH. It had to happen and it did.
Athletics South Africa president Leonard Chuene has blamed racists for the furore over Caster Semenya’s gender.
A Sapa report carried on The Times site reads:

Chuene went on to blame racist South Africans for writing letters to the IAAF which, he believes, triggered the governing body’s probe into Semenya’s gender.
“This is about racism,” Chuene said.
“These rumours come from South Africa. Why did these people write to the IAAF?”
“These are the same people who don’t want 2010 (next year’s Fifa World Cup), the same people who bring black people down and the same people who refuse to believe that Africans can make it on the world stage.”

See. It’s inevitable.

Once again, the stupid Malema, Chuene and many followers and people like them, turn the Semenya hullabaloo into racism. In light of his statements about the attitude of the IAAF, the commentators, the Australians an all present in Berlin, we must accept that the hero worship of Usain Bolt, is an extreme form of racism. This new and evil plan to practice racism covertly, is aimed at the very fiber of the black man’s resolve to remain ever vigilant against the threat of open racism.
The problem with this form of covert racism is that the victim of the racism, do not realise he is a victim. Soon he will stop crying racism at every opportunity and he will forget the evil consequences of racism thereby losing the skill to play victim, leaving him defenseless in the war against racists. The most significant and critical consequence, resulting from this evil, “counter revolutionary” plot, is that the poor victims of racism will lose their ability to dump guilt on the perpetrators of racism. It is a bit like taking away Zuma’s machine gun, a thought to ghastly to contemplate.

Yeh, I wrote the letter to the IAAF. I have been following Semenya around since she was twelve, and at all the school athletics competitions with other schools, I got the other black teachers to insist that Semenya be taken to the toilets for a gender verification before she would be allowed to race against their girls. Ask Semenyas granny and mother, and they will tell you that I am the biggest racist in the world.

Nkosicheesy,
Can you not see how faaking ridiculous you and this Leonard Chuene are? No you cannot, can you.

Dont fu#ck me around Leri. where and when have you mingled with Semenya’s family ?, you are KZN based, and they are not there. I am sure if they can meet you, they can cornfirm that you are the top racist around.

Don’t act as if you were against those teachers who suggested that Semenya must be tested.

Nkosimashforbrains, the issue here isn’t your own wee wee-er, not everything is about you.

This is a South African problem, we are ALL rooting for her. Of course Chuene says it’s racist – even kids4communism issued a 3 point statement which made it white chica’s fault. Yes, ******, I am white.. does this make me a racist also? You have the power to make life bearable but you consistently tip to the edge of insanity. It really is a pity.

Whilst this silly debate rages, stories about the daily killings of innocent woman by robbers and thugs, do not even make the front pages of the newspapers. These, obviously racist, attacks are never highlighted…why? Black racists do not exist.

An innocent woman was senselessly shot dead by fleeing armed robbers on the driveway of a petrol station in Johannesburg. She was minding her own business and was no threat to the robbers. In Durban, a second woman was shot to death by armed robbers, this time in broad daylight on a busy street. Yesterday a third woman, shot dead in her house by robbers, for a TV set, was buried. These senseless acts, many similar acts and the daily raids on shopping centres fly in the face of promises made by Jacob Zuma, Mthetwa, Mbalula and Cele…..see fullstory on my blog

@ Elizabeth,

“You don’t know many real women, do you?” I know reeeaaaal women lizzy, who are millionares.

Millionaires? That’s weak, sir. I honestly expected more from you. A woman is still a woman, with or without your money-god.

Well, in your books. However That is debatable these days.

@ Elizabeth,

I accept your challenge. Before we engage even further, what do you mean by “real women” ?, would you mind unpacking that for me.

G. Annandale

August 24, 2009 at 2:45 pm

It does make some of the headlines…but certainly not to the same extent as this story, and only when it is particularly brutal.

Looking at your top stories, on a average day, 1 out of 3 may make it.

Nkosinathi :)

In all fairness, the ‘real’ women was a jab initially, but I’ll give you my opinion nonetheless. To me, real women know what they want (whether they play fair to get it is debateable), real women don’t let *anyone* step on them (if they do, it’s just a matter of time before they stand up), and real women certainly don’t allow as.s licking.

@G Annandale: Can it be that these senseless killings are being committed by senseless animals or is that view too simplistic? Why kill someone who is of no threat to you or identify you? I think it is because these murderers know that they can get away with it. These are not human beings… they are barbaric animals. Who preys on and steals from the poorest of the poor while earning huge government salaries for which they provide little or no quality work? More barbaric animals.

Who can justify any immoral and unethical behaviour by political “leaders” as can be seen on these blog sites? Even more barbaric animals. There are millions of these specimens in South Africa that belong to the same herd and vote according to their unthinking and unquestioning herd mentality.

Nkosinathi

“..Madam Lizzy’s a#ss is clean now, you have done enough licking there.” was the start of all this, resulting in “..and real women certainly don’t allow as.s licking.”

Does it make sense now?

Nkosinathi Khanyile

August 24, 2009 at 4:13 pm

@ Elizabeth,

Sure, it does. Then let us get to the core issue here which is my claim of debateabilty of a woman being a real women when she is financially sound.

1. I maintain that a real women is the one who doesn’t need Nkosinathi in order to be able to drive a BMW X6 and stay in Morningside, She must be able to do it on her own.

2.“A woman is still a woman, with or without your money-god.” I fully agree, but a real women is something else to me.

Elizabeth MacLeod

August 24, 2009 at 4:25 pm

Nkosinathi :)

Okay, this is good. I agree with you, if a woman needs a man to ‘live the good life’ when she is more than capable to attain that level of financial success on her own, then she’s no friend of mine. You do, however, get those relationships – where each of the ppl involved have their role clearly defined. I may not agree, for instance, with the woman who sleeps with her husband/bf/whatever simply to have her weekly manicure, but if it works for them.. In my book she isn’t a real woman.

You said “I fully agree, but a real women is something else to me.” – will you tell?
