Morgan Tsvangirai has returned to Zimbabwe for the funeral of his wife. This after he was treated in Botswana for injuries sustained in a car accident which killed his wife.
Tsvangirai’s return is to be welcomed and he should stay in Zimbabwe and continue with the building of that country’s unity government. There were fears yesterday that he might not return to South Africa for some time out of fear for his life. His MDC party has expressed concern that the car accident may have been an assassination attempt.
