Now that the elecricity regulator has put the cost of this year’s power blackouts at R50bn, you would think the minister to blame for the biggest balls-up in post-apartheid South Africa would have something to say. At time of writing this, he was silent.
Anyway, here’s our memorable front page on which he made the statement: “The growth of South Africa’s economy at the current healthy levels can continue”.

Please don’t forget that the size of one’s ears is inversely proportional to one’s mental capabilities. South Africa should build a monument to this moron’s monumental stupidity! I think a public toilet built over his grave would be fitting.
