HERE’S a compelling sign of these digital times: As the US economy reels towards recession, Google makes new record profits.
Numbers reported this week showed Google had improved revenue from US $ 3,7 billion to US $ 5,2 billion.
Income, earnings per share and employment were all up with some 2351 jobs being added to the payroll.
The reason? Quite simply this: As the torrent of online information grows, more and more people are seeking navigation. Google owns navigation.
Here’s a question for all who publish online: Are you increasing or reducing the clutter?
