The SABC’s web site carried this story earlier today:

Shilowa says ANC conference could be suspended
December 17, 2007, 12:45
Gauteng Premier and member of the ANC’s National Executive Council, Mbazima Shilowa has suggested that the conference in Limpopo will be suspended. This comes after rumours that the Indaba would be canned due to serious divisions within party ranks.
The party has been divided over the past few months, due to the intense leadership battle between ANC President Thabo Mbeki and his deputy, Jacob Zuma.
Many senior leaders, including ANC veteran Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, have tried to broker a truce between the two camps

The story has since been withdrawn from the site, but the link lives on here

Is the cat out the bag when it comes to the Mbeki camp’s last ditch strategy?

Eish comrade! We told Snuki that in confidence, it was not meant to be published. Now we’ll work on expelling all JZ’s supporters for not having the correct credentials.
