One more game before supper, by  LEBOHANG MASHILOANE, originally uploaded by hartleyr.

THE Times has been true to its promise to be a visual newspaper that respects photography on all its pages.
Today — and not for the first time — we print a large image on our front page that has no direct bearing on any breaking news story. This has been done because we believe that there is more to communicating the texture of life in South Africa than just the day’s news.
There are so many scenes of great beauty and sadness that play themselves out without ceremony. It takes a brilliant eye to see them.
Our fantastic team of photographers has forced the paper to take these images seriously and they have made our newspaper special.
