IT’S all over. The true identity of the blogger who wrote The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs has been outed and has confessed all.
He is Daniel Lyons, a senior journalist at Forbes magazine.
The fake account of the Apple boss’s thinking built up a following and became an uncanny source of speculation about the company. The real Steve Jobs admitted to reading the blog, according to timesonline.co.uk which reported on the unmasking.
If there is a place for anonymous blogging, it is in this sort of relatively harmless satire, which raises a chuckle, but doesn’t set out to ruin anyone’s reputation.
