RAPPER Kendrick Lamar has cancelled his tour to South Africa, the Sowetan reports.
This comes after an announcement made by the headline sponsor Miller Genuine Draft today, that stated that Lamar was no longer coming to South Africa in November as scheduled.
But no love should be lost as the Poetic Justice rapper has only rescheduled the concert for February 2014, after he agreed to support rapper Kanye West in his upcoming tour that only ends in Decemeber – coinciding with his scheduled SA tour.
Fans that have already purchased tickets for November have the option to either return their tickets for a full refund, or to exchange their tickets at a Computicket outlet for the new concert dates in February & March.
Airey Scott and Miller Genuine Draft apologise for any inconvenience caused, and are excited to welcome Kendrick Lamar to SA in February & March next year.
Kendrick Lamar’s new SA concert schedule will kick off in February 2014 starting with Durban at the Wavehouse on February 28. Johannesburg follows on March at the Johannesburg stadium ending in Cape Town on March 2 at Bellville Velodrome. - Sowetan
