That old songbird Lata Mangeshkar has been singing Sachin’s praises.
On Sunday Tendulkar will celebrate 20 years in international cricket, and Queen Lata says he’s good for another 10.
Good on ya girl.
She wants him to win the 2011 World Cup too. Well, not if his team don’t back him up as they have just failed to do in the series against Australia.
Mangeshkar said she gets upset every time there is speculation about Tendulkar’s retirement.
Don’t we all, darling.
In an expansive interview with Mangeshkar in the Indian press this week, she revealed a sound knowledge of cricket history.
“Sir Donald Bradman has acknowledged Sachin’s greatness, can I say more? Bradman saw glimpses of himself in Sachin, I don’t think there is any better compliment for him than this.”

Captain DimWit Smit strikes again!

First mistake: “We’ll bowl.” Let’s hope the fool never wins a toss again, since he clearly does not understand how to take advantage.

Then there is another D/L debackle! Crud Mullet, you got the job because your predecessor didn’t know how to read those sheets! You still can’t do it?

Of course, hoping that Biff might lose the job due to incompetence is asking for too much…
