A pharmacy college graduate charged with conspiring to kill American troops in Iraq and attack shoppers in U.S. malls, engaged is some dramatic scenes that would have made Hollywood directors smile.
I mean the dude showed open defiance to the federal court in Boston like all good terrorists in Hollywood movies do. First he refused to stand for the judge before the terror charge against him was read.
His father urged him to stand, and when he finally did, he tossed his chair loudly to the floor.
He is said to have conspired with two other men but their terror plans were thwarted because they couldn’t get into terror camps for training and couldn’t find automatic weapons.
His next appearance is at the end of the month, and he better come up with better antics then if he wants to attract the roving eye of movie scouts. He could do a male version of a Sharon Stone move ala Basic Instinct, but the long pajamas might be a problem. Oh, well, he could just light a cigarette and when reprimanded, toss his hair aside (and not his chair this time) and ask: “What, are you gonna charge me with smoking?”
